General Description
100% natural purified concentrate of Astaxanthin extracted from algae (Haematococcus pluvialis) by Supercritical Fluid Extraction using CO2, which has been standardized and stabilized with safflower oil and natural tocopherol (other vegetable oils can be selected by customer request).
Appearance
Viscous oil, dark brown to red color, with mild characteristic odor
Applications
To be used as a source of Astaxanthin in nutritional supplements, multi-vitamin complexes, food applications, animal feed and pet food, and cosmetics. This material has been designed for production of softgel capsules and emulsions as well as in food material.
