General Description
100% natural purified Astaxanthin extracted from algae (Haematococcus pluvialis) by Supercritical Fluid Extraction using CO2, which has been standardized and stabilized with antioxidants. This material is micro-encapsulated in a tablet grade matrix formulation.
Appearance
Free flowing, fairly homogeneous particles, with intense orange to red color, a granular-flake shape and mild characteristic odor
Applications
To be used as a source of Astaxanthin in nutritional supplements, multi-vitamin complexes, food applications, animal feed and pet food, and cosmetics. This material has been designed for direct compression for tablet production as well as in two piece capsules.
